Facebook, when it's good it's really, really good but when it's bad it's better. Who else you gonna get to share your dark, melancholy worldview with? Apart from The Samaritans who probably just think that you're an annoying, wimpy loser?

Facebook status is the app that aggregates and classifies all of the better Facebook statuses so you don't have to waste your time trawling through all that endless bilge, drivel and feel-good crap that some people feel a necessity to put up there. For that is what social networking is all about - a free platform to get your dig in at the world, even if people still choose to ignore you as they did before.

In future, be ready with your insults. Have a store of pointed, barbed remarks at your disposal for the next time you find yourself in the company of an idiot - or someone you want to impress with your awesome/pretentious coolness.

Anyone planning to build a badass database of Facebook statuses could do worse than by starting with this lot:
